BIOGRAPHY

Founded in 2011 by Claudia, a painter, and Martino, an architect, Amaaro explores ceramics as a poetic and symbolic language. After an initial experimental phase, they began reimagining everyday objects, transforming them into allegories. Their universe unfolds through a pantheon of animal and vegetal figures, metaphors of human behavior and tributes to the fragility of living beings. These creatures, elevated to tutelary deities, embody an intimate yet universal vision of our relationship with the world. Each piece, handcrafted, bridges inherited tradition with contemporary invention. Exhibited internationally, their works elevate ceramics to the realm of contemporary mythology.
