BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1977 in Quimper and trained at the Beaux-Arts in Rennes, ROD forged a unique visual language at a very early age: Fragmentation. This radical technique, combining cutting, recomposition, and suspension of images, runs throughout his work. His installations, made of thousands of fragments assembled one by one, defy space and capture the eye. They oscillate between chaos and geometry, between violence and light. Since 2004, ROD has exhibited in numerous galleries in France and internationally. Each piece stands out as a visceral manifesto, where matter explodes to be reborn. His monumental works, made of suspended shards, capture the tension between chaos and order. His work blurs the boundaries between sculpture, architecture, and image. ROD imposes an aesthetic of collision, as unsettling as it is magnetic.
