Nearly a quarter of a century after his first stay in Honfleur in 2002, Adrian Çene returns to set up his easel in the town that profoundly marked his development as a painter.
From 15 to 23 September 2026, Galerie Brume will welcome him for an artist residency, offering him the opportunity to revisit Honfleur, its light and its motifs, and confront them with more than twenty years of artistic research and painting practice.
The residency will give rise to a new body of work, to be presented at Galerie Brume as part of Adrian Çene's first solo exhibition with the gallery, from 8 to 29 October 2026

Galerie Brume is pleased to present a solo exhibition dedicated to the work of Adrian Çene, on the occasion of his residency in Honfleur, from September 15 to 23.
During his stay, the artist will turn his gaze to Honfleur and its inhabitants. Landscapes, seascapes and portraits will come together in a body of work born from a direct encounter with the place, its light and the presences that inhabit it.
